Our Services.

We provide patients with a wide range of dental treatments including preventative care, general dentistry, cosmetic services, and emergency care. Dr. Tyler C. Shaw and his experienced team of professionals are able to offer comprehensive dental services.   • General & Periodontal Cleanings

    Regular dental check ups are important because they help keep your teeth and gums healthy. Patients with a history of periodontal disease need deeper cleanings because periodontal “pockets” have formed.

  • Fillings

    The concept of a “filling” is replacing and restoring your tooth structure that is damaged due to decay or fracture with a material. We will replace old, broken-down amalgam/metal fillings that contain traces of mercury with white fillings (composites) to restore your smile and teeth to a more natural look and feel.

  • Bonding

    Bonding can fix chipped or cracked teeth, reduce gaps, and overall improve the appearance of your teeth. It is a quick process and bonds to an existing tooth.

  • Root Canals

    This procedure is the extraction of decayed pulp from the center of the tooth. We then reshape the canal and replace it with a composite filling and cap.

  • Crowns

    This is a permanent covering over a tooth that has decayed or cracked. The decayed or damaged part is removed and an impression is made of the surrounding teeth. A temporary crown is fit until the permanent crown is ready to apply.

  • Bridges

    A bridge can prevent shifting of the teeth and jaw problems by filling a space that a previous tooth occupied. There are a few different types and we will help determine which one is best for you.

  • Extraction

    Although permanent teeth were meant to last a lifetime, there are a number of reasons why tooth extraction may be needed. A very common reason involves a tooth that is too badly damaged, from trauma or decay, to be repaired.

  • Dentures & Partials

    We provide several different options for tooth replacements that will help you feel confident and natural.

  • Teeth Whitening

    Improve your appearance with a bright smile. This service is growing in popularity and we provide several fast, safe and effective options to whiten your teeth.

  • Implants

    A dental implant is a titanium post (like a tooth root) that is surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath the gum line that allows your dentist to mount replacement teeth or a bridge into that area.

  • Botox

    Botox is used for the treatment of TMJ disorder’s. Botox is effective at relieving symptoms of jaw pain, jaw tension, headaches, earache’s, neck, and shoulder pain. Botox is widely used to improve or erase mild to moderate wrinkle’s in the face, allowing patient’s a more youthful look.

Dr. Tyler Shaw is an Ogden native who graduated from Bonneville High School in 1985. He attended Weber State University as an Undergraduate from 1988-1991 where he studied Zoology. In 1995, he obtained his Doctorate degree from The University of Oklahoma and has been practicing ever since. When he is not in the dental office, Tyler loves spending time with his family consisting of his beautiful wife Jennifer, 5 children and 2 grandchildren. Tyler loves anything outdoors including boating, horseback riding and mountain biking.
